Maddy Grace & Colton James are a sibling songwriting duo whose musical connection stems from growing up and creating together. Maddy began crafting melodies and lyrics almost as soon as she could talk. Inspired by artists like Taylor Swift, Gracie Abrams, and Megan Moroney, she taught herself piano and wrote her first full song at 13. Now 16, her clear, mature vocals and story‑driven lyrics reflect a pop‑country sensibility that’s uniquely her own.

Colton James had his first guitar lesson at age 7, but it wasn’t until he picked it back up at 10 that everything truly clicked. He draws inspiration from artists like John Mayer, James Taylor, and Aaron Watson. A quick study with a natural ear for melody, he began co‑writing with Maddy at just 11. Now 14, Colton’s performances—whether harmonizing with Maddy or delivering solo covers—reveal a young artist with remarkable musicality.

Together, they’ve written more than 40 original songs, blending heartfelt storytelling with catchy, melodic hooks. Maddy won Song of the Month from the Houston Songwriter Association for one of her original pieces. The duo has been awarded Best Vocals and Bright Future at the Texas Youth Music Festival’s Battle of the Bands, earned 1st Place in their division at the Brazoria County Fair Talent Contest, and were runner‑up in the inaugural Houston Songwriters Festival Rising Star category. They are also proud members of the Texas Country Music Association, further solidifying their presence in the Texas music community.
Whether collaborating at home or performing live, Maddy Grace & Colton James are not just siblings—they are a dynamic musical duo whose stage presence and performances are nothing short of mesmerizing. Their music resonates with emotion, authenticity, and unmistakable sibling synergy.
